Acknowledgements

I owe all of this to my late father Mark Lord, who not only took me fishing as soon as I could walk, but pulled me into his workshop to help him make rods and spinners when I was only 10.  He supported my interest in fly tying and fly rod building and encouraged me every step of the way.  He was the best fishing partner I ever had.  Thanks Dad; rest easy.

Mike Terrien of River Drift Fly Fishing put me on my first fly-caught musky, and the chase has taken over my weekends ever since.
