NEW! 9-10" PR378 Swimbait Changers

I am completely in love with the PR378 swimbait hook that Ahrex developed with Gunnar Brammer. It's a fantastic hook for game changer patterns, and I can't wait to drag these through some serious weeds later in the season. I use Flymen articulated shanks with one dual-mono section around the hook; the "middle section" is connected to the body of the PR378 using an extra shank, same as the rest of my GC ties. I keel these with a heavy rattle and some lead, and lately have been slapping 15mm Living Eyes on them because, just look at those things!

I've worked out the harness and spacing for multiple materials; so far I've tied these in bucktail, feathers, hybrid style with translucy brush over EP baitfish brush , and mega-changer style with both regular old EP baitfish brush, but also with the insane Hot Core brushes from Nightmare Musky Flies. The last two examples here are Hot Core ties; no sign of the 6/0 PR378 buried in there, but a typical esox strike will compress that down easily.

(One note: I'll tie up a weedless Hot Core Changer in any color NMF makes, but I am not keeping a stock of these brushes. NMF has about a 3 week lead time from brush order to delivery, so it would be at least that long before I could get any NMF changers in the mail to you.)
