8" - 14"+ Mega Changers

The Mega Changer: 8 segment tandem hook game changers with a saddle tail, tied stem to stern with H2O Baitfish Brush and trimmed to shape. I tie this in the 9-10" range as a Tandem, or a slightly shorter 8-9" T-bone variant with the hook in the 2 spot and a rattle under the head. These weigh in at around a gram per inch, which really starts to matter when you get to the:

The search for a foot long fly that is castable and effective is ongoing. I can tie our Fluffhead (or Synthetic) T-bones and Bucktail Changers in that range, but for that enticing "big meal" realism, nothing tops a Mega Changer. I'll tie these tandems for you in "about a foot" and "about 14 inches" lengths. There is a lot of metal and body tubing in these, so like all of our "Freakin' HUGE" flies, I advise coming up to bat with a solid 11 or 12 weight that has some oomph in the butt section.
