6" Feather Game Changer

These Feather Changers have a hen saddle over filler flash body with a Schlappen head and pectoral fins. I have caught muskie, pike, and river hawg smallmouth on these (smallies love the yellow/orange combo), and honestly it's hard to start a float with anything else when I am prospecting new water. Their action is unmatched by any fly I have ever seen. I've listed the colors that have been most productive in the NE, but If you want a color combo you don't see, drop me a note on the contact page and I'll let you know if I can tie it. I have uh...a lot of feathers.

These are 8 segment GCs including tail and head. Most are tied on 4/0 Kona BGH, or a 2/0 Gamakatsu B10S Stinger if I have feathers that will sustain the taper on the longer shank. These flies run about 6" long, weigh ~4 grams, and are castable on anything above an 8 weight.
