6" - 8" Fluffheads

This is your basic hollow tied bucktail/flash/saddle hackle streamer, but with a head made from 5" EP Ultra Brush wrapped around a set of plastic EP Game Changer dumbell eyes. The Ultra Brush is bulky but doesn't absorb much water, so it creates a different kind of turbulence and action than the hard epoxy head of a Hang Time Optic Minnow. Both the Fluffhead and the Hang time will kick sideways on a hard strip to entice an aggressive eat.

These are tied on a single 4/0 Gamakatsu B10S Stinger hook, and include a rattle under all the hair and feathers. The 6" model uses normal saddle hackles; the 8" version uses Whiting Predator Pack hackle where colors are available (everything except black and white bodies, which will use Whiting American grizzly hackle instead). The Predator Pack feathers are *super* long, super flexible CDL saddles that really work well in this fly. These are 4 gram flies, castable on an 8wt.
