6" - 8" Hybrid Game Changers

In his book, Blane Chocklett said that the Hybrid Changer is the (then current?) peak of his design journey with the Game Changer platform. The synthetic brushes on these Hybrid Game Changers move a ton of water and have an action that is *almost* as nimble and fluid as the Feather Changer. Some trick at this length!

I tie a single hook variant on a Kona Big Game Carnivore hook in the 6" range, those weigh 5 grams. They are straight Translucy brush over Flash Baitfish brush, with a marabou tail and hen saddle fins. I trim these for a chunkier profile than a Feather Changer, but you can still cast them all day with a 10 weight.

I also tie these Hybrid Changers T-bone style (not shown), in the 8" range, with a 28mm Big Game Shank for the head and the hook in position #2. With no hook gap to get in the way, I can fit a medium Hareline rattle into the head, which also acts as a keel!
